What size should the photo be?

Any phone photo works. The crop tool frames it, and each photograph is saved at the size its slot needs for 300 dpi, so it prints cleanly on A4.

Can I add more than one photo?

Yes. Add up to two extra pages of photographs, with one to four photos on each page, cropped to fit.

Can I change the photo later?

Yes. Your details stay in your browser. Come back, replace or re-crop the photo, and download the PDF again.

Where the photo goes on each layout

Panel: The photograph fills the colour band down the side, above the name. Photo optional.
Banded: A photograph set into the top of the page, with the first rows beside it. Photo optional.

Choosing the photo

A recent photograph, face clearly visible, taken in daylight against a plain background. One person in the frame. No filters and no heavy editing — the family will meet the person in the photo.

Any phone photo works. The crop tool frames it to the shape the design needs, and a larger original prints sharper. The photo is cropped square for the cover portrait and 3:4 for the photo pages.
