What a biodata is, what goes in it, and how long it takes.
- How do I make a marriage biodata online?
- Fill in one form in your browser — name, photo, personal, family and contact details — then choose a design and download your PDF. Nothing to install, no design skills needed, and you can see it before you pay.
- What should I write in a marriage biodata?
- Start with your name and a clear photo. After that there are five short sections: your personal details, your horoscope details if your family uses them, education and work, your family, and how to reach you. Only fill in the rows your family actually asks for — an empty row looks worse on the page than no row at all.
- How long should a marriage biodata be?
- One page, or two if the family section is large. Beyond that it stops being scanned and starts being skimmed. A cover page with the photo and name, then one page of details, is the shape most families expect.
- Which fields are compulsory?
- Name, date of birth, education, occupation, family details and a contact number. Everything else — rashi, gotra, manglik, complexion, income — is optional and should only appear if your family uses it. Leaving a row blank is worse than not having the row.
- Is there a biodata maker app, or can I make one on my phone?

Language and format
Which language to write it in, and what file you end up with.
- Can I make a marriage biodata in Hindi or another Indian language?
- Yes — eleven of them: Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Odia and English. Everything is written properly in your own script, so the PDF prints correctly rather than showing empty boxes. Switching language changes the row labels; whatever you typed stays exactly as you wrote it.
- Should the biodata be in English or in my own language?
- Whichever your family reads. English travels further between families who do not share a script; a biodata in Hindi, Marathi or Tamil reads more naturally to relatives who do. Many people make both — the same details, printed twice.
- Will I get my biodata in PDF or Word format?
- You get a high-quality PDF. It looks the same on a phone, on a computer and in print, so it works for WhatsApp, email or copies from the print shop. We do not offer Word.
- Does a biodata need a horoscope?
- Not the full horoscope, but the details it is cast from — date, time and place of birth — are worth including if your family matches horoscopes. South Indian biodata often go further and list nakshatra, rasi and lagnam directly.

Filling in the form and seeing your biodata in every design is free either way, so you only pay if you want one of the designed sheets.
- Can I edit my biodata after downloading it?
- Yes. Your details stay in this browser, so come back any time. Downloading the same biodata again is always free — there is no time limit, and a lost email is not a second purchase. Your purchase also includes one free edit: change a line, swap the design, and download the changed version at no cost. After that edit is used, changing it again costs from ₹49, depending on the design. Come back in the same browser you paid in.
- Do I need to sign up to make a biodata?
- No. There is no signup, no password, and no login. We do ask for your email address at the download step so we can send you a copy of the PDF to keep — that is the only thing we ask for.
Privacy, and everything else
What we keep, and the questions that fit nowhere else.
- Is my personal information safe?
- We use your details to make your biodata and for nothing else. They are never sold, and never shared with matrimonial sites or advertisers. If you buy a PDF we keep your biodata and the file for 12 months so we can email it to you and send it again if you lose it; the privacy policy sets out exactly what is kept and how to have it deleted.
- Can I use this for a job or general biodata?
- It is built for Indian marriage biodatas — the sections, the rows and the wording all assume that. You can rename or remove any row, so it can be bent to another purpose, but a CV maker will serve you better if that is what you need.
- Can I use it from outside India?
- Yes. The tool runs in your browser anywhere you have internet. Templates and wording are aimed at Indian matrimonial norms, but families abroad often use the same format when sharing profiles with relatives in India.
